Beschreibungen

None of the Arab intellectuals in the twentieth century placed the intellectual in the eye of criticism as Edward Said did in his book (Representations of the Intellectual) and in a universal manner such that it often applies to all conditions of the modern intellectual in the world. Said lived his life as a radical intellectual who rejected injustice, and some of them occurred. On his Palestinian ontology, and he lived a life fighting injustice wherever it occurred. He was the one we knew, traveling in exile in the East and West until his death. But he was not happy that he left his life in vain. As he wrote early in his life and continued to write anti-writing until his last breath, I say "anti-writing" in a radical way, and it is one of the characteristics of the radical intellectual without a naive celebration of writing, not for its own sake but for the cause of the human being robbed of his homeland, but happy he was never robbed of his will. This is a second characteristic of the left-wing radical intellectual compared to the right-wing conservative radicals, as we understand their rise in the late twentieth century. Thus, Said did not understand exile as a spatial focus that protected him from the arrows of others, and he was the one who penetrated the ontology of the other from the beginning when he made the "other" an object of contemplation. Rather, he made it the subject of all his contemplations in everything he wrote, driven by a radical, non-hostile vision. Instead of empty hostility towards the other, Said invested this topic successfully in telling the truth, and this is another characteristic of the radical intellectual. The chapters of the book reveal some of the characteristics of this unique writer and try to go far. In contemplating its phenomenon and analyzing new aspects of its influential operator.
